Psychotherapy is a form of talking therapy that offers the space to explore thoughts, emotions, relationships, and life experiences in a deep, introspective manner in order to work towards your own aspirations. It can help you better understand yourself, navigate challenges, and develop new ways of relating to yourself and others.
At Saans Psychotherapy, we offer existential psychotherapy, systemic therapy, and couples and family therapy. Our sessions offer a calm, confidential space where you can slow down, reflect, and explore what feels most important to you.
Existential psychotherapy explores questions around identity, meaning, relationships, freedom, and how we navigate uncertainty or change. Rather than trying to “fix” emotions, this approach helps you reflect on your experiences, values, and relationships so you can better understand yourself and live more authentically. You can read more about my approach on the Approach page.
Systemic family therapy explores how our family, partners, culture, and social environments shape our emotional experiences. It can be especially helpful for couples, families, or individuals experiencing conflict, communication difficulties, life transitions, or feelings of disconnection. You can read more about my approach on the Approach page.

Yes, I welcome clients from diverse backgrounds. Having lived and worked across different cultural contexts, I bring a global and culturally sensitive perspective to therapy. I have developed a deep appreciation of how identity, belonging, family expectations, culture, and life transitions can shape our emotional experiences and relationships. You can explore more about my background on the About page.
Therapy can be helpful if you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, anxious, or simply want a space to reflect and understand yourself more deeply. A free 15-minute consultation is the best way to see if it feels like the right fit. You can book a consultation through the Contact page, and you’re welcome to get in touch with any questions.
Yes. Therapy can support a wide range of experiences, including anxiety, low mood, relationship difficulties, stress, life transitions, and feelings of being stuck or overwhelmed. My approach combines existential psychotherapy and systemic therapy, helping us explore both your personal experiences and the relationships and environments that shape your life. Our sessions are collaborative; there is no single “right” way to do it, and we will move at your pace, focusing on what feels most helpful for you. You can read more about my therapeutic approach here.
Not necessarily. Every family and relationship is unique, so we can explore together what feels most helpful for you. There may be times when individual sessions, parent-child sessions, or sibling sessions are helpful. There is no single right way to approach therapy. We will work together to find what best supports you and your family.
Our first session is a chance for us to get to know each other. It’s an opportunity for you to share your story and for us to understand what brings you to therapy. There is no pressure to ‘perform’ or have to have an agenda; we will explore your needs at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
I see clients in person at my therapy room on Regent Street (W1), Central London, from Tuesday to Saturday. If you prefer, I also offer secure online therapy sessions so you can join from anywhere you want. You can find further details on the Contact page.
Sessions last for 50 minutes for individuals, and up to 90 or 120 minutes for couples and families. These are typically held once a week, to help us build a sturdy therapeutic relationship and maintain momentum, but we can discuss a cadence that best supports your needs.
Therapy fees vary depending on the type and length of the session. Individual sessions are £110 for 50 minutes, with different rates available for couples, dyadic, and family therapy. Concessionary rates may be available for young people, students, or those experiencing financial difficulties. Please feel free to get in touch or visit the Fees page for further details.
Therapy sessions may be covered by your health insurance, depending on your policy. I am recognised by Allianz Partners, Vitality Health, and WPA, and also work with Spring Health, an employee assistance programme (EAP) that provides access to mental health support through participating employers. If you’re unsure about your coverage, you may want to check with your employer or insurance provider. You are also welcome to get in touch through the Contact page if you have any questions.
Absolutely. Confidentiality is the cornerstone of therapy. What we discuss stays between us, with very few legal/ethical exceptions (such as serious risk of harm) which I will explain fully in our initial, free consultation. Creating a space where you feel safe to speak freely is my top priority.
I ask for 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a session. This allows me to offer the time to someone else. Missed sessions or late cancellations are charged at the full fee, as that time is reserved exclusively for you.
